Duck dash preps underway

Volunteers are getting their ducks in a row ahead of the third annual Duck Dash in Riviera Beach this Sunday:

It’s all to benefit Special Olympics Florida of Palm Beach County.

“We have our athlete representatives here and some of our volunteers that are actually taking all the tags off the 5,000 ducks we have that will be in the race. And then they’re re-tagging them as well. So they’ll all be in the event on Sunday morning,” said Rich Fleming, director of Special Olympics Florida of Palm Beach County.

Bay Gardens Resorts Offers Free Tickets to Women’s World T20

Sanovnik Destang, executive director of Bay Gardens Resorts, has announced that guests attending the ICC Women’s World T20 cricket tournament, which runs from November 9 to 24 in Antigua, Guyana and St. Lucia, will receive two complimentary tickets to each match falling during the dates of their stay at Bay Gardens.

Furthermore, guests will receive two bonus tickets for each match featuring the West Indies championship team. In addition, visitors will be offered free transportation to and from the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground. South Georgia theme park offering free tickets to those displaced by Hurricane Florence – FirstCoastNews.com WTLV

The Wild Adventures Theme Park in Valdosta, Georgia is offering free admission to those displaced by Hurricane Florence this weekend.

The park says if you are displaced into the area and can provide a valid ID or proof of residency from a county under evacuation order, you get a free ticket to the park.

Wild Adventures is located halfway between Atlanta, GA and Orlando, FL off I-75 and houses more than 40 family/thrill rides, hundreds of exotic animals, and dozens of concerts and special events each year.

Busch Gardens changes Membership Program for frequent park guests


WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Busch Gardens and Water Country USA have announced enhancements to the theme parks’ Membership Program. The new Platinum Membership option was added on Monday.

Now, park-goers can choose from a range of four Membership tiers: Basic, Unlimited, Premier and Platinum.

“The more consumers move up, the bigger and better the savings,” a Busch Gardens spokesperson explained.
