Passing gavel after 20 years
Joseph Bryer, who has served for 20 years as president of the board for the Genealogical Research Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania has passed the gavel to new president Maureen Maher-Gray.
Joe began working with the all-volunteer society in January 1995. He and some friends were looking to collect valuable records to help document the family trees of people in and from Northeast Pennsylvania. Since then, the society has grown to more than 450 members living across
