Kids with syndrome making them "obsessed with water" get water park passes

JACKSON, MI – Angelman Syndrome keeps 11-year-old Reese Vescelius from walking and talking, and it causes him multiple seizures every day.

Another common effect of the rare neurological disorder is an obsession with water. But, in that instance, free tickets to Jackson’s Nixon Water Park on a hot, sunny afternoon Wednesday, July 6, produced large smiles.

Reese and his family and the family of 11-year-old Molly Brockie, another child with Angelman Syndrome, were treated to 10 free passes to the park by the city of Jackson.
