Galactic touches down at South Shore Harbor this weekend for The Landing festival

Over the years, the members of Galactic have plugged in at many festivals around the world. This weekend, they’re featured at The Landing, a new, hometown festival of their own.

The Landing takes over a formerly blighted space at South Shore Harbor near the Lakefront Airport on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 26-27) for two days of music, food and fireworks. On Saturday, Galactic, which launched the festival in conjunction with Tipitina’s, will close out the main stage with a 90-minute set. They are preceded by Cake, Eagles of Death Metal, St. Paul the Broken Bones, the North Mississippi
